   I really like darkness of this song. Your whispered voice fits very well to this tune. Great! And the mix is on pro level.

   Thanks for your sweet comments on “Twisted”. Glad you enjoyed it! It’s been really fun and rewarding to blend our music with my vocals. And yeah, lyrically, this is one of our darkest songs. I was going through some very emotional stuff when we wrote it!

   Mix props go to m.0… I think he did an amazing job too These mixes evolved over many months… I think his brain is still tingling

   Aww, thanks for your beautiful and kind words on “Twisted”! You’re right– the instrumentation in the verses is very sonically stripped down. I think it worked well with the dark vibe of the lyrics… then we added pads and arps in the chorus to fill out the space.

   The stripped down vs. deep/atmospheric contrast is a lot like how I was feeling at the time– feeling such emotional extremes! It was very rewarding (and therapeutic) to channel this all into “Twisted”

   Great song. We all know simple songs are hard to make and you’ve made it look effortless. Great lyrics as well.

   Aww, thanks so much for the touching comments! We totally agree– it can be much harder to strip things down (and have just as much– if not more– impact) than to cram a million things into a song. We fed off each other’s ideas during the songwriting process, and this was one of the tracks that fell together quite naturally
